I think his idea of concentrating on something on stage, to keep the focus off the audience, is a good idea. He thought if his actors observed the object intensively enough, a desire would arise in them, to do something with it.
Although, the actors lost basic faculties on stage, so much so that they had to be re-taught. I don’t think this theory is worth all the trouble it caused with the actors having to be retaught the basics it seems a bit ridiculous.
I do like the circle of concentration, though. It sounds as
