On Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 1519 hours I, your affiant Patrolman Joshua J. Pastucka and Patrolman David Stamets was dispatched to a domestic at 408 Furnace St., County advised that half the party has since left. I spoke with the caller John Mazack via telephone, John said his wife Roberta Mazack is at it again. John stated Roberta left the home and he is at the neighbors at the moment. He requested to speak with me in person. Stamets and I went to John's residence, upon arriving on scene I first observed his wife's vehicle in front of the home and then her outside of the house.
When I exited my patrol vehicle I began to approach Roberta. Upon approaching Roberta, she immediately began yelling at me before I could ask her what the problem …show more content…
Stamets and I began to speak with Roberta about the manner she just drove in. When speaking with Roberta she was exhibiting several indicators of being under the influence of a stimulant. Roberta had constricted pupils. fast speech, exaggerated reflexes, facial and body tremors, dry mouth, discolored brown tongue, thirsty, repetitive questions, paranoia. Stamets asked to perform a variety of field sobriety tests, which Roberta could not successfully complete.
Roberta was taken into custody and transported to the Shenandoah Police station. Roberta conducted more field sobriety test that were instructed and demonstrated by Stamets, Roberta stated she'd submit to a blood test. Roberta admitted to Stamets to recently using meth, but said she doesn't do it all the time.
Roberta was read the PennDOT DL-26B form, Chemical Testing Warnings. Roberta was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center South where her blood was drawn and then sent out to NMS Labs for toxicology. I received a toxicology report from NMS Labs. The toxicology report read positive findings for the following: Amphetamine 21 ng/mL, Methamphetamine 250 ng/mL, Diazepam 90 ng/mL, and Nordiazepam 270 ng/mL, all of which are DEA controlled
