The end of the school year has arrived. We have unpacked our desks, cleared out our classrooms, and finished all of our classes. Although, this time it is different. We no longer get to stay with our class. We don’t come back next year. We no longer get to attend St. Patrick. I have come to the conclusion that when we leave St. Patrick, we will not be here physically, but we will always have a piece of us here. Even when we have children of our own, we will always remember this wonderful place and smile. Leaving is going to be one of the most challenging ordeals we will face. We will no longer be in the school where we see familiar faces at every turn. We are going to high school.
