Parents using spyware, in my opinion, just want to keep their children safe. I say that, because not all children know the dangers of the internet. Parents checking up on their children’s internet use is the way to go if you want to keep them secured.

One reason I believe parents should monitor is to keep their children safe so they can just to go on the internet freely and away from negativity. I believe this because most people want to surf the web and go on sites without strangers trying to chat with them or ads trying to take away their money. “Chatting with pedophiles or watching beheadings or gambling away their entire life savings” (Coben 1) is an example of negativity on the internet.
