Underwater creatures are amazing and delightful. Some spotted jellyfish that are large have small fishes living with them. Narwhals have a tusk that is actually a tooth that can grow to 10 feet long, but not all narwhals have tusks. Octopi are the smartest invertebrates. Octopi are able to open a container with prey in it. My favorite underwater creatures are narwhals, spotted jellyfish, and octopi.
One of my favorite underwater creatures are narwhals. Narwhals live in the Arctic waters of Greenland, Canada, and Russia. They are known as the unicorns of the sea because their ivory tusk tooth grows through their upper lip. Adult narwhals are 2,100 lbs and are 17 ft long. Baby narwhals are close to 5 feet long and weigh 175 lbs to 220 lbs. Bottlenose dolphins, belugas, orcas, and harbor porpoises are related to narwhals. Fish, squid, and shrimp are the foods they eat. Narwhals are amazing creatures, however spotted jellyfish are a much more interesting creature.

A crop of algae in its tissue produces food for it to harvest. Zooplanktons are another thing they eat. Small mouth openings on its oral arms capture plankton. Spotted jellyfish are amazing creatures, but octopi are my most

The deep-sea jellyfish has an especially unique way to survive in the ocean “in depths up to 12,000 feet” (Deep-Sea). Instead, they use an alternative method. “The moment a jellyfish feels threatened by a predator, it flashes bright blue lights in a circular pattern that also turn on and off, which is known as a bioluminescent ‘burglar alarm.’ The jellyfish’s striking display might scare the predator” (Jonssen).…
