Sports In The Elizabethan Era

All Elizabethan sports tended to include an element of gaming and gambling. Billiards is a forerunner to the Pool played today and in the Elizabethan era, they gambled while playing this game. Elizabethan sports during that era are very similar to the games that are played today. Although Elizabethan era sports can be a lot rougher and bloodier, they are almost the same as some modern day sports. Elizabethan sports had more of a brutal aspect in them while modern day sports have a skilled and less brutal aspect. With this more brutal aspect brings a bigger crowd because everything in Elizabethan era was about blood and gore. One game or sport that is really similar to a modern day sport is Rounders. These two are almost certainly resembled because the same factors are applied in both sports. These factors are hard hits and a lot of injuries. The only differences between these two sports is you wear padding in football but you don't wear padding in gameball. This meant that there were a lot more injuries and a lot more blood involved. While some may say Baseball is America's sport others may say it's football. Gameball is a more bloodier version of football and most people would enjoy this sport over football because of that factor. Gameball is an amazing sport and you can understand how much pain it is to get blown up playing with pads let alone without pads. Stoolball is an ancestor of cricket. Stoolball and cricket are almost identical considering you use a paddle and a ball to hit it almost like baseball but it's really different at the same time. Stoolball and cricket are basically the same thing given the fact that they didn't have much material to use so they probably used a thin log and a rock. Cricket is a baseball type of sport that you use a paddle and a ball but instead of four bases you have two and it's behind the pitcher and where you hit so when you hit it you run forward and then
