Ariah Rand, a seventh grader, had no idea what she was getting herself into when she agreed to play it. She did not realize that when restricted her chest movement that she would black out. In fact, she blacked out for 30 seconds after the accident. When she got up, she felt a weird tingling in her hands and cold. She could not remember anything that took place. According to United States Disease Control and Prevention, a severe neurological injury or even death can occur as a result of playing this game. Ariah visited the doctor, and luckily, she was okay afterwards. Ariah has stated that her peers have started to bully her for telling people about this troubling trend.
