To my delight and surprise, I was informed recently of the opportunity to apply for a Space Academy Scholarship. A top priority of mine upon hearing about the program was to pick up an application. This could be a once in a lifetime adventure. For a few years now, a long-term goal of mine is to one day pursue a STEM career in the military. This interest sparked when I learned that being in the military would give me the freedom to travel while giving back to my country. As an aspiring leader and ambitious person in and as well as outside of school, I strive to learn while also educating others.
