South carolina 1776 is when the whole thing started. Benjamin Martin is a man living during this time period while raising seven children on his own. Since he is living in America he decided to fight for his side, as America is fighting for freedom against England. His oldest son Gabriel is in the army fight for his country’s rights, while the second oldest wants to fight but his father won’t let him. Later on, when the redcoats come they start to tie up Gabriel to take him away, But then they other son jumps in to get his brother and a redcoat kills him.
