The South Beach Diet is a commercial weight-loss diet created by Dr. Authur Agatston in 2003. The typical eating plan of this diet is low carbohydrates, high protein and healthy fats. This plan makes the diet a nutrient-dense, fiber-rich diet that you can follow for a lifetime of healthy eating. The South Beach Diet does not prevent diabetes, but it does help with weight loss and promotes healthy eating.
