It’s proven that 64% of kids who are competitive will learn about life lessons. When I was little, I would always play softball and it taught me to keep my eye on the ball and the life lesson that my coach taught me was “ keep your goals ahead and when they come, make sure your ready to hit”, it taught me a lot of life lessons but that one I will remember forever. It doesn’t have to be a sport for kids to be better at, it could just be anything, mathematics, spelling bee, or just a plain old science fair. If, your child loses it will also teach them how that person does something and they could get better by that way. 92% of the world population will say they can get better at something if they have a better motivation. If you’re always forcing your child to do this or do that, relax and let them do their own thing. Kids these days are always trying to be better than the other kid. When I was little, my brother and I would always play this video game called “Twisted Metal” and he would always beat me at it and then I would get very exasperated and then I learned that if I got better at it then maybe I could beat my brother. Being fit means better health and you’re being better at the game! That doesn’t mean that you only have to do sports to get fit, they’re other activities that make the child fit. They can be doing some fun activities and they don’t even know it. Also, a fun way to stay fit is to challenge your friends to a little ball game and practice with them. I had a friend that was most of the time trying to elude getting practice, instead she went home and sat around. When we had a game, she wouldn’t know what we was doing because she didn’t come to practice and she didn’t know the new moves that we had plan for that game and then she would strike out and her mom would get mortify that she wasn’t winning. Then after she was noticing what she was doing she started coming to practice and she became better at softball and she hasn’t missed a single practice ever
