Social services has the power to make a difference in the lives of people in our community. They can be service-learning, volunteering or community service. Service-Learning is a teaching method that combines the meaningful opportunity to serve in the community with curriculum-based learning. Students apply the traditional classroom learning and skill to the real life world that come through service. They then reflect on their experiences to reinforce character, engagement, communication, teamwork problem-solving, networking skills and especially an understanding of civic responsibility. Volunteerism is engagement of student activities where the primary emphasis is on the service provided and the primary intended beneficiary is the community
