Through the newly, effervescent implication directed towards social media and the connected world, vast amounts of critics tend to lament the drawing force of technology that seemingly pulls us in. Throughout the world the global reach of products such as, the iPhone, Personal Computers, gaming systems such as PS4’s, among other entities, have plagued society in a way that is unprecedented. This prodding rise in technology has grasped most of western civilization, whilst still flaunting its foothold on the other side of the globe, as many of these products are produced inside of inhumane, and detrimental factories by foreign workers in third world countries for pennies a day. In a significantly similar fashion, the next term the author of this essay has evaluated is, “social fragmentation,” which he defines as, the disparity of sections of a societal system due to limiting factors.
