SNC took four minutes of his allotted ten minutes developing his brief; SNC’s fire team did not step off to execute until after ten minutes had elapsed. SNC’s Situation paragraph contained detailed information about higher and adjacent units that was not briefed to him. SNC briefed a scheme of maneuver that was based off tactical control measures that he was unable to explain after he was asked what they meant. SNC’s tasking statements did nothing other than assign fire team billets to subordinates; SNC proceeded to brief later on that tactical control measures were not applicable.
