Amount of time blended:
The longer you blend the smoothie, the thinner it will be. I blend my smoothie for approximately 45 seconds because I like my smoothies to be creamy but not too thick. About every ten seconds, I shake the cup so the ingredients will be evenly blended throughout the smoothie. Without doing this, ingredients at the top will not fully blend so this step is necessary.
As you can see, there is a lot to making a smoothie and it isn’t just blending fruit. There are controversial parts in the art of smoothie making that I know not everyone will agree with, but people should try my ways at least once. There is a lot that goes into making a smoothie like using fruits and vegetables together, adding other unique ingredients, having a base, ratios of ingredients and many more that make your smoothie to its fullest
