There is a huge debate in my family on rather or not vapes are harmful. My sister used to smoke cigarettes before she was pregnant and then had a baby. Now my sister uses a vape to cope with her addition that is a toxic epidemic. My mom and stepdad hate when my sister uses her vape to fight off the urge to smoke a cigarette, especially in the house. My parents think that a vape is just as bad as a cigarette. My mom would always say that smoking was “dirty” and “foul” relaying the connotation to this new age habit. As a critical thinker, I became curious and decided to do a little research to find out if vapes are actually harmful to the body and what the benefits are of using a vape in return for smoking a cigarette.
