“It will be okay you’re safe,” Betsy reassure the child and went to go grabbed a blanket to cover the kids to keep them warm. She remember that Sheamus and the boys were still out there, it start to make her question if they would be able to survive. The thought of them being out there not knowing if they’re okay made Betsy feel depressed. But she had to stay strong to not frighten the children.
“Where is father?” Jacob asked terrified.

When the boys finally made it to their mom they walk back to the sod house for Neil and James to warm up. When they got there Neil started crying and so did James. “What happened out there, where is your father?”
They didn’t answer they looked at the floor. “ Father was doing his best to keep us warm but he went to see if he could find anything for shelter, he left and never came back,” James told Betsy while crying. “ Okay well how about you all go to sleep” Betsy said holding back her tears. The kids were sleeping so she sat down on a wooden chair and started crying silently so the children would hear.
It was another day the blizzard had stop. The snow was deep and you could actually see. Betsy started making food. The food was ready Betsy called them to sit down. There was a knock at the door Betsy stood up and opened the door. “Is this the Mackane family?” The guys asked with no expression. “ Why yes, do you know where my husband Sheamus is?” Betsy about shouted with excitement.
“Yes but we found him frozen to death.” The man replied
