Skiing is a sport that requires determination, toughness, and good physical fitness. It is the one thing that I look forward to all year (other than cross country). My dad was the one that taught me to ski; he had been a ski instructor for ten years before and after college. I began skiing when I was only two years old. At that time, my dad would put me on a ski leash so that I couldn’t get too far away from him and crash. Being only two, it was very scary for me; at the same time, it was super exciting because my parents had always needed to help me with things that I wanted to do.
