On The Hunt The small beginnings of a huge project. I am so excited to participate in this coming years’ calf scramble program. This opportunity means a lot to me and I’m ready to start my heifer project. I plan to purchase a Simmental heifer to bring to next year’s stock show. I would prefer to purchase an older female to have a better chance in winning the calf scramble show if possible. But I will take what I get if a Simmental cannot be found I am also interested in the Charolais breed. We have already been preparing for an animal even though we aren’t sure what exactly we are getting yet me are soon to make a decision. I have also begun to write down names as I think of them but have not quite decided yet since we don’t have a cow to
