Cadillac and Ford use a different perception of money to influence the viewer on his consuming habits. In both videos, we observe their perception of money and the use they make with it. But, their perception of money is very different one another. In the Cadillac commercial, the man says that money needs to be used to buy stuff like the Cadillac electric car. In other words, we need to work and work harder again in order to buy stuff and more and more stuff. At the contrary of the Ford commercial where the woman says that she works so her community grows and develops.
