The king and duke threaten to turn Jim in if both Jim and Huck don’t wait on their hand and foot. Then they say if they try to run away they’ll kill them. The king and duke are much more hostile in the movie than they are in the novel. In The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Huck tricks the king and the duke into believing Jim was Huck’s slave.
