A child is God’s gift to this world. It is pure, innocent and full of life. It represents the hopes and dreams of each parent. Sometimes those hopes and dreams are shattered by the news that there is something wrong with the child. News that is not what a parent wants to hear.
They are many diseases and conditions that children fall victim to. One of the fastest growing and most common now days is the autism spectrum disorder. To comprehend what children with autism and their families going through, we first have to understand what autism is, what causes autism and what are the common signs. Autism spectrum disorder is a neurological disorder, distinguished by communication difficulties, social withdrawals and repetitive patterns and behaviors.
