I don’t think Wal-Mart should be allowed in New York City. In New York City, small business is the major part of NY State economy. So if Wal-Mart get in New York City, small business will have shut down. Mikey Richardson mentions in his article, "It would hurt these small businesses, so I am going to say NO.” It is very clear that small business is more important in New York rather than big companies. Wal-Mart also needs big space for its store. In New York City we don’t have huge space for store like Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart has negative repercussions for this economy.
