Composting school lunches should be mandatory because it helps reduce the amount of trash in landfills and that really helps the enviroment. So much students at schools across the nation don't even eat half of their lunches and throw them away. Instead of throwing them away and hurting our enviroment, the uneaten food from school cafeterias should be composted to help reduce the amount of trash in landfills. When we thow trash into the wastes and oceans, we're putting trash in our oceans which is hurting the enviroment, and the animals living around that area. Also, we can try to recycle more actively in our schools.
