Providence Canyon is a state funded park in the state of Georgia. Over the years, the government has wanted to change Georgia's Little Grand Canyon into a national park, instead of it staying as a state park. In my opinion Providence Canyon should stay exactly how it is a state funded park. You may think differently, or you may think it has better benefits of being a national park. There are benefits coming from a state funded and it being a national park. Providence Canyon is a big part of Georgia. It is one of the most highly visited places in the state of Georgia. Sure you can look up pictures of it online but that is not getting the full experience as if you saw it in person. Providence Canyon is considered one of the Seven Wonders of Georgia. If you have an opportunity to, go you better take it because you will not see anything else like Providence Canyons geologic history in the parks 1,108 acres anywhere else in the United States. If you are the kind of person who is into plants and stuff, you are in for a big treat. The reason being is that Providence Canyon has one of the colony's rarest plant the rare plum leaf azalea. This is only the kind of joys you get of just looking around Providence
