Should Football Be Banned Research Paper

Football is a very violent sport ,but should not be banned. Football is America’s sport that most of the American population enjoys watching and it would affect all of America would not be able to see their son/daughter play in high school football. Football isn’t played in as many countries which makes us one of the few countries that actually plays football this would also affect me too because I grew up watching it on tv with my dad and playing Madden with other family members. Football is at the riskier end of the spectrum of sports, but still is less risky than skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, equestrian or bicycling. If we are going to make laws on all risk-taking behaviors in children, we should probably begin with those that are statistically more dangerous, rather than in the middle.Another reason not to eliminate football programs is because of the risks we are not so sure of the things that would happen if we take away the risks from society.Children learn to not assess their abilities, but their teammates abilities so they can make the play.This capacity for rapid risk assessment and plan execution, relying on teamwork and an assessment of evolving challenges may serve our children well in their later professional lives.
