Do you think chocolate milk should be served in schools? Well I do! Chocolate milk is delicious and nutritious. Schools are thinking about taking this superb beverage out of the cafeteria!

One reason I think chocolate milk should be sold in schools because it has the same nutrients as regular milk. Some of these nutrients are, protein, vitamin A, vitamin D, and calcium. Getting these nutrients is important for your health. You might be wondering how they are important, well here's why. When adults don’t get enough vitamin D, they sometimes get osteoporosis, breast cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, heart disease, and depression. That is why it is important for kids to get in the habit of getting vitamin D. Vitamin D should also be eaten to absorb calcium and maximize bone growth and strength. If kids don’t get vitamin D, they could develop soft bones. Vitamin A is important for your immune system, reproduction, and normal vision. It also helps some of your organs, such as your

Some sugars aren’t good for you and do not help for a healthy diet. Meanwhile, some sugar can be good for us like the ones found in fruit, lactose, and milk! Research shows that kids who drink chocolate milk do not consume more added sugar than kids who don’t drink it. Kids who drink chocolate milk are also not heavier than non-milk drinkers.
