Athletes should be able to make their own decisions and control their own future in their sporting career. More good outcomes that could come from this method is that they will have the experience and high intensity feeling that will be coming with the professional league. But the biggest success that will come from this method is that they will have a qualification in something so that after the sporting career ends they will then have some decent jobs to try and take on.
Although there is this big debate on whether athletes should be able to go straight to professional out of school, there are some professional leagues that take athletes straight out of high school, the one professional league that does this is the MLB over in America. The MLB do not recognise if the athlete has gone to College (their version of University) or not, there is a big problem with this because as explained above, if the player isn’t good enough, they will not have any job to fall back
