Could you imagine being isolated from the world for 2 years the way Anne Frank had to live?Anne stayed in hiding from the Nazis for 2 years in a Secret Annex. Living in fear that she and the people staying with her would be caught and taken to a concentration camp. In my opinion that would be emotionally exhausting for someone to go through. Anne Frank wrote in her diary, " In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart." I believe this shows that Anne was optimistic, brave, and strong. These are some characteristics I believe all people should have in them. If more people would have these qualities, the world may be a better place. Wouldn't you want to live in a world full of positive people?

Anne was brave because during her stay in the Secret Annex she had to be quiet and hide from the Nazis. If they found her, they would take her to the concentration camps. For some people being that quiet would be quite a challenge. Another quote Anne wrote in her diary says, "I'd like to scream at mother, Margot, and Father too. Leave me alone, let me have at least one night when I don't cry myself to sleep with my burning eyes and pounding head. Let me get away, away from everything, away from this world! But I can't do that. I can't let them see my doubts, or the wounds they've inflicted on me." This quote shows that she was brave. Even though she would like to yell at the people she is staying with, she can't let them see her weaknesses. This is an extremely great quality to have because it shows that she cares about the feelings of others around her. This is why I believe that Anne was
