The players exploited their fans excitement and stepped up their game. After a mind boggling three periods, Micah Miller (an adept player) stepped up to the plate and scored an extemporaneous goal. The team then threw their equipment up like confetti at a grand parade.
A thrilled student said, “When he scored, everyone jumped up and cheered at the top of their lungs. It was lit.” Coach Klatt said, “I'm so proud of these kids, we aspire to win state!”
At the end of the night, the team forgot about all the erroneous plays they made. The coach didn't have to chide anyone. Even though the team had a bleak chance, it still pulled through.
