2. The items and resources they found are significant because they helped them survive, providing them with food and shelter; the beans and the fish they found were used for food. The water they found help quench their thirst. The corn seeds they found helped them to plant them. 3. I did not have any previous impressions about this historical period, so this story about the Pilgrims’ arrival is the first time I am hearing of this. It is a very fascinating and immersive story
