Shigeru Miyamoto Research Paper

Decent Essays
My favorite artist is Shigeru Miyamoto, a senior executive for Nintendo. He has made some of the greatest and most influential video games, including Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, and Metroid.

Shigeru was born in Sonobe, a town just north of Kyoto, Japan. At an early age, he explored the outdoors of Sonobe. On one of his many expeditions of the outdoors he stumbled upon a cave. Curiosity struck young Miyamoto, after a day of pondering he decided to go inside. His many expeditions greatly influenced his work in "The Legend of Zelda". He graduated from Kanazawa College of Art with an industrial design.

He stumbled upon the arcade game "Space Invaders" he was inspired to go into the video game

I found this Yakudoshi party fun and very informative celebration (not to mention the great meal my wife and I had). I had an idea of the different types or the variety of food the Japanese culture has to offer, however, I think the most valuable lessons here were learning about the culture. I was fortunate enough to hear how the older generation and the younger generation view the practice of Yakudoshi, compare their views on food, hear and learn about some Japanese etiquettes (especially in the use of chopsticks as I described it in the discussion experience below), and hear their views on interracial marriage. Although the young Japanese couple had a hard time convincing their children to consume some of their meal, watching the young…
