Music can influence our everyday lives, many artists try to put hidden meanings behind many of their songs. The musical content of certain songs can add to the meaning if it is thought about enough. This can put an effect on the listener when the lyrics are listened to. Two songs that can have an effect on the listener is “She’s got you” by Patsy Cline and “I hate you I love you” by Olivia O’ Brien, the genres and form is different, but the intention of the song is the same.
