Since the time we are born we have many interesting stories circulating our world but what catches to the whims and fancies of our minds is the mystical world of Sherlock Homes a character from the creations of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s writings. The character has gone through a multitude of incarnations over the last couple of years. During the recent times in one of the BBC series Sherlock which showcased some of the famous cases that clearly pictured some of the beautiful locations. The climax scene from the Sherlock series where the protagonist jumps to his death is none other than the St. Bart’s Hospital; this is one of the oldest hospitals standing tall in the United Kingdom. The building is actually called the St. Bartholomew Hospital one of the oldest hospitals which has survived the horrifying Great Fire of London and it has also stood up to the Blitz in the second world war. This was once the site of execution and the remains of which are on the exterior of the wall. Bart’s hospital coming across is the Blackfriars bridge which is over the Thames one of the busiest in the city with no limits to weight it can sustain. While crossing the bridge as we head along the river banks walking towards the Oxo Tower we need to keep an eye on the timing part. As the next stop is none other than the foreshore of the river Thames in case we are not considering time we might reach the place when it is high tide and the area completely disappears from the sight where the body of the security guard is washed up during one of the scenes of the Great game episodes. On walking along the river bank on the west side we are definitely going to come across couple of more locations like the Waterloo Bridge and the way towards the Victoria Embankment where the series projected the meeting of Holmes and Dr. Watson.
When we see the scene from the Blind Banker where Holmes and Watson leisurely walked you can do the same if you plan to catch up and see the same place in reality. As we head inlands towards the famous Charing cross area and taking a little detour we get on the Northumberland Street, it might ring bells for a locale as there is the Sherlock Holmes pub that helps you gulp down few drinks and relax. While moving forward to the route you will reach the central London the Trafalgar
