This Order is for the internal use of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office only and in no way enlarges an employee’s civil or criminal liability. This Order should not be construed to create a higher standard of care in any evidentiary sense with respect to third party claims. Proven violations of the Order shall only form the basis of a complaint by the Sheriff’s Office in a non- judicial administrative hearing.
