Eyes - Large, immovable compound eyes detect light. Each eye has thousands of lenses.
Mouth - Sheep Moths do not have any working mouthparts.

A mountain meadow consists of grasses and flowering plants on a mountainside, and typically has a river flowing through it. Most are surrounded by forests.
Adults do not eat, but the caterpillars feed off their host plant. Sheep Moths have a variety of host plants including Mountain Lilac, Currant, Wild Rose, and Willow.
The range is from as far north
