This overall study was biased and reiterated the idea that college literature was extremely hard but in the end, they all benefited from it and it proved to be quite the experience. How could you possibly be touched and moved by a class you hardly apply to everyday life. Think about it. College literature will not be applied in everyday life like for example, at the grocery store. They will never go to check out at the store and give a speech about the products they 've bought and why they chose to buy them. To me, a life changing skill would exemplify something much more common and greater, like learning to walk and talk for instance. College literature may introduce a world of new emotion and crazy adaptation however; it fails to portray a “life changing” experience as described. In order for such skill to become defined by that phrase, it must be applied through function in everyday usage who you are physically, how it 's applied in your career and the frequency in which you apply the skill to everyday life. While their outlook in English literature may have been modified throughout their undergraduate years, their physical life has maintained the same. Next time you watch a video like such think, how might a subject potentially bring such a life evolving background through literature? Contemplate the monstrous progress that might need to happen to an individual. Will their end goal benefit from literature without limitations, and if so are they truly touched by an obligated college
