It is titled science fiction for a reason, it’s not real. So if it’s all made up, why do people feel the need to ban it? What everyone thinks nowadays is that if we can stop letting our children read foul things such as this, then they will grow up to be a better civilization. But what they are saying is wrong. If we ban books due to a few bad words or some “sensitive topics”, then our children will never grow up knowing right from wrong. The authors of these books put their hard work, time, and dedication into writing these books. Not because they have to, but because they can. So for them to put their ideas out there into the world only for them to get banned, it’s straight up violating the first amendment.
