Several researchers suggested that hospitality industry is difference with other service industries (Poulston, 2007), and Poulston (2008b) also mentioned that hotel industries are more likely to have such sexual harassment behaviors. To proof this statement, International Labour Organization (ILO) also stated that hotel is one of the most at risk of sexual harassment occurrence happened within European Union. Furthermore when talk about sexual harassment in hospitality industry, there is always a close relationship between hotel staff and hotel guest. Then, what factors in hospitality industry may contribute to sexual harassment? Firstly, duration of work is one of the factors that lead to sexual harassment. This is because staff turnover all the time occur in hotel industry (Poulston, 2008a; Watts, 2007; Wijesinghe, 2007). Hotel needed too many part timers or hiring new staffs especially peak season. According to Namie (2003), long period of sexual harassed by the harasser will affect the welfare of the victim and also lost their working performance, even dissatisfied with their job. To better understand the impact of sexual harassment in hotel industry, each impact will be explained more clearly in this part. Improbably, some of the employees think that sexual behaviors are positive (Zhang, 2006). Indeed, there are some sexual approaches that are welcome and there are different with sexual harassment which is unwelcome. Some of the staff will just ignore such behavior, and they might manage to escape from it.
