Sexual harassment is harassment that includes unwanted sexual advances, request of any sexual favors, and other types of verbal and physical harassment in a sexual way. Sexual harassment is unlawful to harass an applicant or employee. Offensive comments, unwanted hand touches, and gestures they all tied into sexual harassment. When it comes to a business environment it is important that individuals conduct their selves in a professional manor. In the cooperate environment sometimes the amount of men outweighs the number of women that we have in the work environment. Take for example a plant or manufacturing environment there is usually more men than women in this type of workplace setting. When men report workplace harassment it is not taking seriously due to its harassment from a woman to a man. Men are also afraid to report workplace harassment just as much as women, per reports ““The recession has had more of a negative impact on men than women. From September 2008 to January 2010, 4.4 million American men lost their jobs, compared to just 2.3 million women, per the Bureau of Labor Statistics figures. It has also been noted that the share of male sexual harassment claims rose more in the US, which had higher than average unemployment rates.c” Sexual Harassment Against Men in the Workplace. (n.d.). Sexual harassment (SH) at workplaces has serious health, psychological, and work-related consequences (Fitzgerald, Drasgow, Hulin, Gelfand, & Magley, 1997; Wasti, Bergman,
Glomb, & Drasgow, 2000; Willness, Steel, & Lee, 2007) including somatization
