As a student, my personal goals have always consisted of having a career as a Computer Software Engineer majoring in Computer Science. Unfortunately, females are a minority in this field. There's an ongoing list of situations that any woman may encounter while pursuing this major, including working harder to prove a point that ladies can excel in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) courses and being negatively affected by sexism against female engineers simply because we are from the relatively small percentage. Regardless of the circumstances, I will continue as a strong, efficient worker while being underestimated. Auspiciously, I have the courage to take on the task head first.
