“Sex: A Natural History” provides the reader with great amounts of knowledge on sex, how sex as we know it came to be, dating, thinking about sex, and so on. Rodgers takes on a very biology-based perspective, often turning the reader’s attention to her thoughts on evolution and the role it plays in how we generally view sex; she also focuses mainly on hetero sex and male-female relationships. In my opinion, it seems as if this book is more of a textbook for the typical biology or psychology student. “Sex: A Natural History” is quite dense with information - I found that the reading can become a bit dry and very repetitive in some chapters, yet lively and fun in others. I would recommend this book to just about anybody based on the simple fact that this book contains so much information that people need to hear. Learning about sex, even if you aren’t having sex, is still a great way to learn the ins-and-outs of the relationship between the head, heart, and the
