Topic Sentence: The increase of sex trafficking is recognised as a growing global problem.
Evidence/Research: In this paragraph I plan to look at sex trafficking at an international level by making reference to the United Nations Convention Against Transnational Organized Crime, Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children (Palermo Protocol) and the legislation used by different countries outlined by O’Brien (2015).

Topic Sentence: Explaining the motivation of traffickers requires an understanding of rational theory.
Evidence/Research: Using the article from Lyneham S (2013), Bokhari F (2008), BBC (2014), The AHA Foundation Blog (2013) and Rapid Assessment on Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking (2015), I will outline different forms of traffickers and the motivation behind the sexual exploitation of another person. Rational choice theory best demonstrates this because of the weighing of the benefit versus the punishment.
