Seventh-day Adventists and Baptists are both denominations of Christianity. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a worldwide community of over 13 million members. Baptists are one of the largest Christian denominations. At the turn of the 21st century, there were about 43 million Baptists worldwide. There are many different organizations within the denomination and beliefs from church to church may be different. The two largest Baptist organizations in the United States are Southern Baptists and American Baptists. Seventh-day Adventists and Baptists believe a lot of the same things, but they differ in many of their opinions and practices.

Unlike many other Christian denominations, they do not practice infant baptism because an infant cannot place his or her faith in Christ, so it would not be a genuine baptism.
Southern Baptists and Seventh-day Adventists are very similar to each other, however American baptists have some differing opinions.
