Assist and learn from certified physical therapists. Setup patient treatments according to medical records. Access patient conditions. Answer and listen to patient questions and requests. Treat patients with moist heat, ice packs, stretches, paraffin dips, manual massage and ultrasound massage. Setup patients on electrical stimulation (ESTEM) and electrical muscle stimulators (EMS). Check on patients while on ESTEM and EMS, identifying any signs of patient discomfort. Educate patients on exercise and stretching routines and proper use of equipment, monitoring technique and patient safety.
