Sequence 30 (Use first): It does not come as a surprise that sequence is a use first pattern. With three small boys, I have no choice but to be a well organized person in my daily life to avoid chaos as much as possible. This pattern really comes out when discussions like this are assigned. I read the set of instructions then break them down in to smaller steps that I complete in logical order. I get frustrated and unable to think if I begin to work on a new step before the previous one is finished. I feel less stressed when I have the security of knowing exactly what is expected of the assignment. I also like the feedback I get from peer and instructor responses. I can use this feedback to improve the next time.
Precision 29 (Use first): I can see my precision pattern in my day to day duties as a mother. I have to have important conversations with various people throughout the day. From my children’s teachers to speaking with customer service agents regarding a range of bills. I like to ask an array of thorough questions to make sure that I have as much correct information as possible. I also have my notebook and pen with me at all times to write down any relevant information such as dates and times, names of people I spoke with, reference numbers, and any keys points in the conversation I considered important. I love to figure out how things work. Living alone with my boys showed me that I actually work very well with my hands. Not having a man around the house, or the money to pay a professional, I learned how to fix many things on my own. This was not a problem though, because I love working alone.
