Selflessness is described in this quote. “The bullets hummed about him and rattled viciously against the rocks. Semyon was terrified and cried sometimes, but still he kept right on. The officers were pleased with him, because he always had hot tea ready for them.” I think this is selfless ness because even though he is in pain he is still sucking it up and trying to help out by making tea for the others.
So at the of the story semyon was selfless and kind by risking him self and doing things for others. Semyon was a great man who helped at cared for other people but himself. Don’t just think about you think about the people and things around
