Chapter 9 from the book “Seedfolks” presents a young man named Curtis who suffered a big transformation in the course of the story. The author described his transformation during the five years from a selfish individual, who was concerned too much about his body, into a sensitive person who decided to return his girlfriend Lateesha. At age twenty-three, Curtis was the biggest bloke around town and always surrounded by young ladies. Having too much attention from girls, he could not ignore them and cheated on his girlfriend. Therefore, when Lateesha found out about Curtis’ infidelity, she broke up with him. Five years later, Curtis decided to return his love person. Thus, Curtis moved back from Cincinnati and tried to catch up with Lateesha.
