During my time in ACA 122, I have been considering many colleges, and I have found that my top choice is Wake Forest University. I have also been looking into University of Tennessee - Knoxville and North Carolina State University. Wake Forest has a smaller setting, which I prefer, and one of the best psychology programs. I have not applied yet, as I am only a sophomore. However, I have already began deliberating the application and deadline, and I believe I am ready to apply when I am a senior in 2018. Wake Forest has one of the highest graduation rates in the country, therefore I believe this college will help me with my mission. My mission is to be the most astounding psychologist I may be, and help as many people I can throughout my career. …show more content…
At a total of $64,540, I will need to do a great deal of fundraising. I will use the money I have saved in the bank with the addition of money that I will raise doing work around the house and for other people as the basis for my college fund. I will also be applying for many scholarships, although I have missed the deadlines for some. Therefore, I will commence in January, 2016, until it is time for me to apply for college. My Transfer Admissions Campaign can assist me in that. My Transfer Admissions Campaign is called “Carpé College!” and the goal is to find, apply for, and achieve as many scholarships as possible. One would be to actually attend the class. You can learn an appreciable amount if you just show up! I also learned how to take notes efficiently and how to become engaged in my learning, which will both be a tremendous help in my college classes. Some things I have yet to utilize are: building a network of people that attest to my dedication, because I am a very unsocial person; and being able to identify essential college resources, for I have not learned how to navigate the Wake Forest website properly. Employing these quick tips can aid me in a successful college

Dear Carolyn Boles Scholarship Committee, I have had a great first semester in college full of learning and meeting new people. I studied extremely hard the entire semester and was determined to get the best grades possible. My favorite class was psychology and I received a very good grade in the class, so I was asked to become a mentor for the class next school year. I also decided to work toward receiving a minor in health psychology because I loved the class so much. In another one of my classes, we learned about different health field careers in order to decide if nursing was right for us since it is such a competitive major at IUPUI.…

Unlike any of the other colleges I have applied to if I go to USD I will already achieve one dream I had since I was a third grader: going to California. It may not sound like such a big dream, but to a girl who never got to travel much this is a huge deal. And not only will I be going to California, but I will be living there! The third-grade version of me is screaming of joy right now to have that chance. Another reason why USD stands out to me is because they go beyond academics and really push students to be a part of the community.…

I decided to attend Florida A&M University (FAMU) for a variety of reasons, including the location of its campus, because I was offered a full scholarship, and of course, because of the pharmacy program. Moreover, I believe that I am the ideal candidate for being a part of FAMU’s pharmacy program. To begin, FAMU is located in Tallahassee, Florida, a city that I had wanted to attend college in since I was in elementary school. Tallahassee is a city of containing and surrounded by many events and opportunities, so no matter your preferred “scene,” you are likely to be able to find something you do. Another upside to FAMU’s location is that it also places me very close to my mother and the rest of my maternal family, who I had previously not gotten to see almost since elementary school.…
