In high school, scholarship has been especially important to my success. This principle has helped me a lot so far and I know that I will need to use it in the years to come. Although I have had to work hard for good grades in the past, in high school, I have had to work even harder and more diligently to achieve my academic goals. Recently, in my AP U.S. History class, I have had to spend a lot of my time studying and taking notes. That class has pushed me to become a better student and has helped me to better my study habits. Other classes like math and chemistry have also pushed me to do better work and continually aim for higher test scores. It defines who you are and who you want to become. So far, in high school, I have continually aimed to develop my character because it is something I think I should consistently try to better. I have worked towards improving upon qualities of respect, responsibility, integrity, and honesty. Character building is an ongoing process that never really ends.
